Media Advisory: SAHRC’s Western Cape Provincial Office human rights clinic in Worcester and surrounding areas

The South African Human Right’s (SAHRC) Western Cape Provincial Office (WCPO) will embark on a human rights and legal clinic in Worcester and surrounding areas. The clinic is part of initiates by the Commission to make its services more accessible to people who live in far flung areas.

Through initiatives such as clinics, the Commission ensures that human rights services are received by rural and marginalised communities in an effort to provide equal benefit and protection of the law by all. Monitoring activities will also take place in the Breede Valley region where police stations, clinics and service delivery areas will be monitored to ensure compliance with the rights being given effect to in those facilities and communities. 

The human rights and legal clinic will take place as follows:

  • Date: Wednesday, 28 May 2025
  • Venue: Worcester Town Hall, 93 High Street, Worcester Central
  • Time: 09h00 – 15h00
