The South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) in the Northern Cape Province will be investigating complaints received and conduct monitoring in the Namakwa District from Tuesday, 14 February to Friday, 17 February 2023.


The Protection of Human Rights Programme will be investigating complaints related to water, housing, preferred medium of instruction at schools in the Namakwa District.


The Monitoring of Human Rights Programme will conduct monitoring at the following key facilities:
