    Media Advisory: SAHRC North West Office will be commemorating International Human Rights Day

    On 9 December 2022, the North West Provincial Office of the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) will be commemorating International Human Rights Day under the theme “equality, peace, justice, freedoms, and the protection of human dignity”.

    This day is observed amongst others to address deep rooted forms of unfair discrimination that have affected the most vulnerable people in our society, including women and girls, indigenous people, people of African descent, LGBTIQA+ people, migrants, and people with disabilities.

     

    The Commemoration is scheduled to take place as follows: 

    Venue: University of South Africa – Rustenburg  

    Date: 9 December 2022

    Time: 10h00 -14h00
