09 August 2022

Commissioner Philile Ntuli of the South African Human Rights Commission (the Commission) is conducting a provincial visit in the KwaZulu Natal Province from 10 to 12 August 2022.

Following the floods disaster that affected the KwaZulu Natal Province in April 2022, the Commission has conducted a series of monitoring interventions to assess the human rights impact thereof. The Commissioner will also hold engagements with both state and non-state actors in order to develop community-based, participatory approaches to any required solutions.

The stakeholder engagement with the civil society organisations will be held as follows:
Date: 12 August 2022
Time: 10:00 to 13:00
Venue: 455a King Dinuzulu Highway, Archie Gumede Conference Centre, Department of  Public Works, Mayville / Bonela, Durban
