Media Advisory: SAHRC Gauteng Provincial Office to hold the Gauteng Provincial Rounds of the National Schools Moot Competition

On Saturday, 14 September, the Gauteng Provincial Office of the South African Human Rights Commission (“The Commission”) will hold the Gauteng Provincial Rounds of the 2019 National Schools Moot Competition in partnership with the Department of justice and the Department of Education. 

This will be the final provincial round of the National Schools Moot competition as the aim is to select learners from Gauteng to represent the Province at the National leg of the competition.

The national school’s moot competition aims to equip high school learners with an understanding and appreciation of Constitutional Law while providing them with an opportunity to gain research, writing and trial advocacy skills

 

The Provincial Rounds will take place as follows:

Time: 08h00 – 15h00

Venue: Johannesburg High Court
