 The Limpopo Provincial Office will formally launch its child friendly campaign materials, which is aimed at popularizing the Commission’s Child Friendly Complaints Handling Procedure (CFCHP) and promotional material accessible to children. These engagements are also aimed at empowering children with information which may enable them to recognize human rights violations and report these violations directly to the Commission.

The South African Human Rights Commission, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office, will formally launch its Child Friendly Campaign Materials.
The Child Friendly Campaign Materials is aimed at raising awareness amongst children about their rights and responsibilities; empowering children with information that will enable them to identify human right violations and to popularize the SAHRC Child Friendly Complaints Handling Procedures.

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has responded to a call made by the DA that the commission must give a status update on a case of rape and child marriage that took place in Orange Farm. The SA Human Rights Commission says it’s hearings on the status of mental health care in the country has revealed a shortage of skills, training and resources. Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi requested the commission to investigate the sector following the Life Esidimeni tragedy. SAHRC Chairman Bongani Majola spoke with EWN about this matter. Source: EWN
