The South African Human Rights Commission Gauteng Provincial Office in partnership with the Women’s Legal Centre (WLC) is hosting a roundtable dialogue on the Rights of Domestic Workers in terms of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Amendment Act (COIDA).

The roundtable dialogue will highlight the work that has been done by various institutions in advocating for the rights of domestic workers in terms of the COIDA Amendments that came into effect in April 2023.

The roundtable discussion will bring together different stakeholders to share their insights on challenges they have identified through their work and discuss possible avenues of collaboration to ensure the meaningful implementation of the COIDA amendments for the employer, domestic workers, and institutions.
