Tomorrow, the SA Human Rights Commission visits the Brazzaville informal settlement in Atteridgeville In Pretoria West

The SA Human Rights Commission will at 10:00, tomorrow - Wednesday, March 26, embark on fact-finding mission at the Brazzaville informal settlement in Atteridgeville in Pretoria West, where two foreign nationals were reportedly killed when a mob burnt their shacks in an apparent Xenophobic attack.

 

The Commission strongly condemns attack and many similar others around the country where human rights violations of foreign nationals are continuously violated.

 

This mission forms part of the Commission’s mandate of investigating human rights violations and to make recommendations to any organ of state where it considers such action advisable.
