Invitation to Register on and Update the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) SUPPLIER DATABASE

In compliance with the Public Finance Management Act Of 1999 and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act of 2000 and to ensure a competitive procurement process, the SAHRC invites its current suppliers/service provider of goods and services to update their detail and prospective suppliers to apply for accreditation and registration on the SAHRC database.

The following are the categories of the goods and services which are mainly sourced:

Procurement and Administration

Cleaning services, Printing, Design and layout, Editing. Transcription and Translation, Courier services, Stationery, Cartridges, Catering service. offsite storage facilities; office plants

Human Resources

Training provision, Job evaluation consultants, Legal compliance consultant, Dispute resolution experts, qualified mediators and arbitrators , Organisational Development, Recruiting advertising, Recruitment and placement

Marketing and Public Relations

Advertising, Corporate gifts, Promotional items Corporate clothing, Media services, Video and related services, Photographs, Editorial services

Information Technology

Telephone/PABX maintenance, IT software & hardware suppliers, IT maintenance, Data warehousing, Website development and maintenance, Network cabling, Repairs and maintenance, Queue management system, Wireless audience survey system

Research & Analysis

Economic and social research, Monitoring and evaluation, Other related services

Event Management

Hiring of Venues, Conferences and workshop, Facilitation of workshops, Team building facilitation, Special events/functions, Motivational speaker

Consulting Services

Audit services, Legal services, Strategic planning, Employee health and Wellness, Occupational health and services, Asset Management

Machinery and Equipment

Audi Visual equipment, Computer equipment, Photocopier machine, Office furniture

Security

Security services and maintenance, security guards, access control equipment

Other Services

Building maintenance, Repair and maintenance, Installations, Plumbing

All interested service providers are requested to complete the SAHRC Suppliers Database Forms, obtainable from our offices in Braampark Monday – Friday 8h00 to 16h30 and from our website at www.sahrc.org.za. A completed supplier database form should be accompanied by

  • Company profile
  • Company registration certificate

  • Company registration certificate
  • BBBEE certificate
  • Valid Tax clearance certificate
  • Certified Directors IDs
  • Letter from Bank confirming signatories or Cancelled Cheques

Service providers are restricted to register one business category, while general trading category is discouraged. Registration on the SAHRC supplier database does not guarantee that the service provider will be awarded a tender Applications without the relevant information shall be disqualified. Any service provider whose name appears on the National Treasury Database as a person/entity prohibited from doing business with the public sector is not invited. Please indicate National/Provincial availability on profile. All applications will be vetted and screened in terms of SAHRC Supply Chain Management Policy and National Treasury Regulations. NB: All the existing service providers must also re - apply, and only posted, couriered and hand delivered applications will be accepted
